What if I sell the vacation property or do not wish to rent it out anymore?
You can cancel the listing at anytime by emailing admin@vacationusarentals.com and state your listing number, location and email address.
Our fees are non-refundable and the listings are non-transferrable.

How long does the property listing last?
Property listings are for 1 year or until you cancel or sell your property.
Listings are non-transferrable and no refunds are issued for cancellations or sale of property during the term of the membership.

Can I pay by check?
FREE Listings are activated once you select the submit for approval link.
Upgraded listings such as FEATURED are not made live until payment has been received.
Our preferred methods are Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.
We can accept checks. If you wish to pay by check then you need to select the Invoice option for your property and select the membership options you wish, apply a coupon if applicable, and generate your total.

How Do I Add a Property?
Firstly you need to Join our website by selecting the Add a Property link from our menu
Once you have signed up you will receive a randomly generated password to the email address that you used to sign up.
Use this password to Login.
Once in the Owner's Area you will see tabbed options. Select the Add/Edit Properties tab.
There are 6 stages to adding your vacation property.
At each step you can save your input anytime so that no information is lost. You can enter some information today, more later, finalise it another day. Its as easy as that.
When you are ready to proceed you can select the Invoice link which will ask you what membership options you would like.
All our Standard listings are FREE. You just need to click on the Submit for Approval link underneath the property summary on the Add/Edit Properties tab.
For FEATURED lisings we do require payment before activation. We can accept payment via Visa or MasterCard and PayPal.
Once payment has been received and your listing reviewed by our editors it will be activated within 24hrs.

In what order are the properties listed?
All property listings are in random order. This ensure that no matter when you add your property you will have an equal chance of being at the top of the page.
All city and search result pages show properties in random order. The results can then be ordered by other options like number of beds, baths and sleeps.

How often can I make changes to my listing?
You can make changes as often as you want 24/7/365. There are no restrictions on the number of changes you can make. You can add or change your photos whenever you like.

How many photos can I have?
You can add up to 10 photos in your listing. Photo 1 is the main photo that is used at the top of your listing and also the one that is used for the thumbnail in the main city listings.
You can add a caption to each photo to describe the shot too.

You don't have my city listed, can I still add a property?
We have not added every city to our database but we will add, at our discretion, your rental location upon request. When you start the Add Property process there is a section where you can suggest a city. Upon receipt of your request we will contact you with confirmation of its addition.

What size do the photos have to be?
You can upload any size photo and our system will resize it to 400 pixels wide. This only applies to photos that are originally wider than 400 pixels.
If your photo is less than 400 pixels wide it will stay that size.

How many inquiries can I expect to receive?
We cannot offer any guarantees as to the number of inquiries or subsequently bookings.
What we can say is that our website is heavily marketed throughout the search engines and also some printed material. The visitors to our website can either send a direct inquiry about your home or send a general inquiry to several owners.
There are different avenues for visitors to make inquiries; they may email you through the inquiry form or telephone you direct.
A lot also depends on YOU the owner/manager. If the description or photos do not do the property justice then you may find that you are not receiving as many inquiries or bookings as other owners.
Make sure that you describe your property to its best advantage. Ensure that the photographs are bright and of interest to the visitor.
